Andrea comes in again, this time with a rough-woven wreath in her hands.
Center of the Great Wheel
This circular clearing is about 40 yards in diameter and completely
bounded by the Wheel of Nature inscribed in the ground. Soft green
grasses cover much of the ground, but several paths have been worn to
bare dirt over time. The only landmark within the Wheel is the low
Table Stone at the center, but four important landmarks make up
sections of the Wheel: the windy spot to the southwest, a small pool
to the southeast, a firepit to the northeast, and a large mound of
earth to the northwest.

Near the Fire Pit, Kincaid leans comfortably against Echoes-Glory,
listening to all in silence.
On the northern curve, Drew unfolds his arms, as he notices the Voice
and wreath pass by, and calls out a "Hello", after her.
On the southern curve, Aaron nods to Rholeen. "Umm.. hello."
On the southern curve, Rholeen nods distractedly towards Aaron, and
heads further into the center of the Wheel.
On the southern curve, Rholeen heads into the center.
On the southern curve, Aaron heads south, out of the Wheel and into the
forest.
Rholeen
Although her clothes may be threadbare and worn, somehow an image of
pride and confidence shines through. Her raven black hair hangs to
just above her shoulders, and is cut straight in front to keep it out
of her eyes. At her temple a lock of white hair is barely noticeable,
as it has been mostly brushed behind her left ear. Her earrings, which
appear to have been made out of gold coins, help bring out the healthy
glow of her light-brown skin. She appears to be about fifteen, and
it's doubtful she will ever grow into the oversized white shirt she is
wearing, which hangs almost to the knees of her worn out jeans. The
extremely long sleeves have been rolled up to reveal a pair of small,
graceful hands. Her sneakers look well broken in, and were probably
white at one time. Perched on her head is a dark gray baseball cap,
the word 'Goodyear' and the traditional crescent wrench proudly
emblazoned on it.
Andrea smiles at the other theurge, her eyes tracking over her outfit.
If she finds something privately amusing, she does not show it.
Instead, she motions for Rholeen to follow her to the fire pit.
You make your way to the northeast, to the edge of the fire pit.
Around the Fire Pit
The small rock-shielded firepit just within the path of the Wheel
contains a small, brightly burning fire. The ground is baked near it,
and grasses grow in waves away from it, starting scraggly and getting
greener near the inner groove of the Wheel. To the west is the earthen
mound, and back to the south is the small pool.

Forward Back Center of the Wheel
At the center, Rholeen heads northeast to the fire pit.
Near the Pool, Eligio Sacateca looks up from his place by the pool when
he sees Andrea arrive and follows her to the fire pit. He remains in
place for a further moment, gathering his strength, before getting up
and joining her.
Rholeen looks very relieved as she spots Andrea, "I was afraid you had
left already."
Near the Pool, Eligio Sacateca follows the Wheel north past the Pool.
On the eastern curve, Eligio Sacateca follows the Wheel to the Fire Pit.
Eligio Sacateca circles the Wheel, arriving from the eastern curve.
Andrea begins to stir the fire again, with a branch left by the coals
for that purpose. She shakes her dark head. "No, we would not leave
without you." She smiles gently, then asks the younger theurge to
gather some more dead wood. "If you don't mind."
On the western curve, Alexander works his way free of the dense treeline
to the west.
Rholeen smiles, and appears glad to have something to keep her busy as
things are prepared. She wanders about the area, carefully scanning
for any bits of wood or twigs, (or even a branch or two if she's
lucky), that have missed being gathered earlier for the fire pit.
On the southern curve, Aaron comes in from the woodland to the south.
Corcc sighs. "I should probably head off...It's been really good to see
you again, Eamon."
On the southern curve, Aaron follows the Wheel to the Pool.
On the southern curve, Anpwhotep comes in from the woodland to the
south.
Eamon grins and scritches Corcc. "Okay. Seeya 'round!"
Near the Pool, Aaron sighs and sits down by the pool.
Echoes-Glory thinks he may get some peace now, and settles down, letting
his eyelids close.
On the southern curve, Anpwhotep follows the Wheel to the Pool.
On the northern curve, Randall emerges from the thin treeline to the
north.
Near the Pool, Aaron looks up. "Oh, good-evening
Anpwhotep-rhya-person-type-thing."
Near the Pool, Anpwhotep chuffs.
On the western curve, Alexander looks northward and waves to his
packmate.
Corcc cocks her head and grins at Eamon. "I don't think I've ever been
scritched in homid before." She unfolds herself gracefully and rises
to her feet.
Near the Pool, Aaron scratches his chin. "Or would that be
Anpwhote-rhya-Garou-type-thing... yeah, that goes much better.
Anyways, good evening sir."
On the northern curve, Randall comes into sight with an easy strolling
gait, already heading in the direction of Alex before he could even
have seen him.
Other Garou begin to gather by ones and twos. Andrea looks at the Garou
that were at the fire pit before her approach and says, with polite
deference, ~If it will not trouble you, you might wish to have another
resting place for an hour or so. We prepare for a Rite.~ Her voice is
a little distorted, coming from a homid throat.
On the northern curve, Drew steps aside, his head nodding, as he gives a
greeting to the Lord.
Near the Pool, Anpwhotep chuffs in amusement. This one is certainly a
thing of *some* type.
Near the Pool, Aaron chuckles. "How are ye tonight, sir?"
On the northern curve, Randall smiles almost amicably to Drew. "Hello,"
he says, turning onto the Path of the Wheel.
On the northern curve, Randall makes his way forward along the Wheel,
toward the earth mound.
On the Earth Mound, Randall follows the Wheel past the Earth Mound.
On the western curve, Randall smiles hello to Alex and sighs. "New
arrivals," he says, rolling his eyes.
Corcc nods to Andrea and, with longlegged strides, makes her way
southward.
Corcc heads into the center.
Near the Pool, Anpwhotep glances toward the firepit and chuffs. Self is
encountering more bouncy cubs...self was never that bouncy. Self
prefers the excess of energy.
On the western curve, Alexander's tone is curt, although it's obviously
not out of any irritation with Randall. "Who?"
Andrea's mismatched eyes remain on the Fianna and Get, politely waiting.
Patrick nods at Eligio and goes to speak to him quietly; Storm-Dancer
pads in and whuffs at her fellow Uktena. The Children gather losely on
the fire's other side.
Near the Pool, Aaron ahs. "Well, bouncy cubs are probably better than
none at all... once they're taught, of course."
Eligio Sacateca gives Anpwhotep a strange look then turns back to his
tribemate and the Ritemaster.
Eamon waves. "Seeya."
Eamon heads into the center.
Near the Pool, Anpwhotep chuffs. Bouncy is definitely better than some.
It means hope.
At the center, Corcc does a little twirling dance stutter-step and
begins running.
At the center, Eamon heads south, away from the center of the Wheel.
Near the Pool, Aaron grins. "Indeed."
On the southern curve, Eamon heads south, out of the Wheel and into the
forest.
At the center, Corcc heads south, away from the center of the Wheel.
On the southern curve, Corcc heads south, out of the Wheel and into the
forest.
Near the Pool, Anpwhotep has a couple of potential teachers in mind for
you. I have been attempting to find them, between other things, the
last several days.
Near the Pool, Aaron smiles. "Cool, that would be great."
On the western curve, Randall says "One called 'Michael Denarr', a
Walker calling himself rather inelegantly 'Howls the Noise'. I think
he was the one Goldenclaws said she had been watching, since he
admitted to wandering all over the place on Wednesday night. And he
already got scared off once by Unferth."
Kincaid leans into Echoes-Glory, watching Andrea silently. Clearly, he
waits for the old wolf to decide.
Near the Pool, Anpwhotep warns you that you may have to develop a taste
for sour barley broth, since the better teachers I know personally are
Fianna.
Rholeen digs at a stick that is stuck half in the ground. She tugs at
this promising piece of firewood until, as the dirt parts around it,
she realizes it to be a root of a very live tree. Quickly she buries
it again, and hope no one noticed.
On the western curve, Alexander nods. "He came by the night of the
Revel. Unferth told him to get the hell off the bawn until the Revel
was over."
Near the Pool, Aaron scratches his hea duntil realization catches on.
"You mean ale or beer?"
Echoes-Glory picks himself up, perhaps taking advantage of the sympathy
of younger wolves for his years, but moves contentedly over towards
the Center of the Caern.
Near the Pool, Anpwhotep doesn't see a difference.
Echoes-Glory heads into the center.
Near the Pool, Aaron sighs. "Well, I believe its sorta illegal for a
minor to drink that stuff. Besides, it destroys several organs."
Andrea sends Jess to help Rholeen. Soon, between all the attentions, the
fire is blazing.
Kincaid mmmphs, and goes to follow Echoes-Glory.
Kincaid heads into the center.
Near the Pool, Anpwhotep comes closer to expressing personal distaste
than you've ever seen. It is harmless to *us*. But that doesn't make
it taste any better.
On the western curve, Randall converses with Alex with lowered voice.
Near the Pool, Aaron raises an eyebrow. "Really? I've tasted
non-alcoholic versions of beer before. It tastes worse than my mothers
meatloaf when she forgets to season it."
Near the Pool, Anpwhotep chuffs. Alcohol is the foulest taste I have
ever encountered.
Near the Pool, Aaron barely controls himself from bursting out with
laughter.
At the center, Echoes-Glory looks to Slasher. How do you find the taste
of the drink they are talking of?
At the center, Kincaid shakes his head. "I never drank. I saw what
idiots it made out of people."
On the western curve, Randall's nod indicates something at the Center.
On the western curve, Alexander looks into the center as well, briefly,
then back at Randall. His voice is low, but he seems confused about
something, if his facial expression is any indication.
At the center, Echoes-Glory's gaze goes between the Ahroun and those at
the pool.
Near the Pool, Anpwhotep considers that Fianna are not likely to care
too much about drinking laws, so long as they don't get caught.
Near the Pool, Anpwhotep chuffs and nods to Aaron.
Eligio Sacateca talks to Patrick and Cyllan for a moment, in hushed
tones. The three spread out and beckon to the others. Soon the Uktena
have helped to get the entire group arrayed in a loose circle about
the fire.
At the center, Echoes-Glory does not like it either. He watches those
who drink, and even when they say they enjoy it, the drink seems to
bite them. It is a foolish thing.
Andrea nods to Eligio, a small smile touching her lips. She then shifts
to the glabro form, motioning for the others to do this as well. One
by one, they do so.
At the center, Kincaid growls his agreement, and also turns to watch the
rite.
Andrea holds the wreath she brought into the circle before her, the
firelight dancing on the shiny ivy leaves that she chose to weave the
circlet. She intones, with the air of ceremony, ~As we have chosen to
be one pack for the duration, and have woven our paths together, so
must we weave our selves. Please offer a part of yourself for the
weaving.~ As to show what she means, Andrea pulls out several strands
of her long, curly hair and weaves it into the wreath. Patrick,
following his usual ragabash nature, instead rips a strip from the
bottom of his shirt and offers that. After rolling her eyes, Andrea
weaves that in, then moves to Eligio, who stands next to him.
On the northern curve, Drew watches the crowd gathered about the fire
pit, not moving to join them.
On the western curve, Randall looks to Alex, his point made.
Eligio Sacateca unbinds a single feather from the tangle in his hair. He
slips the quilled end into the wreath, weaves it twice through the ivy
and hands the wreath to Rholeen with no words.
Andrea slips back into position, allowing the wreath to make the circle
without her.
Rholeen looks down at her clothing, and since she likes her only
dedicated clothes unripped, and needing her shoelaces to keep her
shoes on, also takes a few strands of hair. Wincing a little as she
took a few more than she intended to, she ties them around the leaves
and other stuff. She then passes it around to the next contributor.
Different items get added, one by one, from other strands of hair to a
few drops of blood. Finally, the wreath is again in Andrea's hands.
At the center, Echoes-Glory has not seen Garou become a pack by this
rite before.
At the center, Kincaid glances down at Echoes-Glory. Shrugs. Goes back
to watching.
Andrea then holds the wreath up, its rather ragged edges looking grungy.
She then calls out, ~So we have bound our paths together, let the path
be opened.~ She throws the wreath onto the fire; the fire flares in
answer. The Gaian turns and gives a nod to Eligio.
Eligio Sacateca returns Quiet's gaze. Drawing in his breath he jerks
into motion, leaping over the fire that blazes in the fire pit.
Rholeen waits for the more eager Garou to jump over the fire, and tenses
herself while waiting for a time when she can be sure not to crash
into another leaper. When her time comes, she leaps over the flames,
and disappears.
At the center, Echoes-Glory has hear dof this before, Slasher. You can't
keep the Fianna away from fires at this time of year, midway between
the equal-nights of spring and the shortest night of summer. Jumping
here, jumping there, they are, from how I've heard it told.
At the center, Kincaid watches the leapers, only his eyes moving. "I
hope Salamander doesn't decide to come by when someone's ass is up
there."
A few of the less-experienced Garou look startled as the leapers
disappear, but one by one they follow the others's lead. Finally, only
Andrea is left. Gathering herself, she springs over the fire and
disappears, leaving only the crackling flames behind.
Random location(#3155RJ)
Tall trees tower up into the sky, spreading their branches wide to
gather in the sun. Squirrels and chipmunks and birds of all kinds are
scattered along the treelimbs, their noise a sweet, soft background
hum. Beneath the trees are lush bushes, producing strawberries and
blueberries in abundance when they run along meadows full of springy
green grass. Other bushes are simply green expressions of life's
strength, as are the smaller plants and small trees scattered between
the giants of the forest. Along the ground, rabbits and deer and elk
and numerous other forest creatures walk the paths, with no
consciousness of possible danger. The sky is clear of clouds, a bright
blue showing the clear yellow sun during the day, and at night bright
pinpoints of stars, and the moons of the Garou in the heavens, all
five at once: full and crescent, gibbous and half, and a
barely-glimpsed glow reflecting Earth's own reflection of the sun's
rays back to the ground.

Rholeen lands fairly well, the springy grass making what could have been
a bad landing also appear graceful. Twisting to one side, she barely
misses stepping on a rabbit that for some reason appears not to have
to good sense of watching out for suddenly appearing Garou.
Gavial says, patiently, ~Wiroshal, guide for Twig-That-Turns-the-River.~
Rholeen takes a step back even as the horn never comes close to her.
"Sure, sure. A bunch of guides. Just don't fight over us, huh?"
Quiet's ears prick forward at that name, her eyes widening a bit.
Gavial
Soft white coat ripples over strong muscles, delicate beauty of
fragile-seeming legs flowing into a tail a little too short, a mane
tangled rather than free. The eyes are wild and dark and show a little
too much white. Skittish though she appears, there is an infinite
compassion, from the eyes still too wild. The horn lifting from her
head to a deadly-sharp tip is dull, without any shining, making a
whole with her slight nervousness to hide her from full notice.
Ananda looks Rholeen up and down. ~I am not sure we _could_ fight over
you. You are too tall, your people, unless you're like
Gavial's...er...Andrea. Gavial would probably not want me to try,
anyway, in case we hit you on the head. Gavial is probably right, you
know. It's getting late, not that you can tell by the moons.~
Gavial repeats her injunction about sleeping, leading the way just a
little into the woods to show an area where ferns bend springily down
to cover grasses and leaves, branches from surrounding trees sweeping
down to clearly delineate areas even if they aren't private. ~Sleep
here tonight. Tomorrow and the next day are time enough for
exploring.~
Ananda stays more or less near Rholeen, falling silent now, seemingly
tired herself. Gavial folds herself down by one of the piles of fern
and grass, taking a bite of the grass before allowing herself to fall
into sleep.
Faest trots up after Gavial, his head held high. His words are a quick
tumble, ~Did I miss it? I was busy showing Aradan that I could jump
over that waterfall, no matter what he sa...~ He then raises his head,
mane waving, staring straght at Windrunner. ~Oh! Hello.~
Windrunner inclines his head politely to the Unicorn, a hint of
curiousity in his gaze. ~Hello.~
Faest shifts from huge steel-hued hoof to another, a bit at a loss. ~Um,
yes, well.~ He looks at Gavial, who only looks amused and trots off,
after a last nuzzle of Quiet.
Faest(#3941)
Eyes the color of flint, coat a rippling grey, horn the metallic gleam
of steel: this sizable stallion speaks of strength and purpose. His
expression belies his size, however, showing the unassuming attitude
of one that does not challenge those that wish to lead; his eyes
reflect a mild interest in the events around him. Still, something in
the playful way this male swishes his short black tail gives a hint of
good humor, and his movements are surprisingly graceful for his bulk.
