Crossing
Crossing was a pack of six elements that otherwise seemed to have little in common. Even within themselves, the packmates often had an overt conflict: a cringing metis from the proudest of tribes, a city prankster from the Native Americans, a healer that rejected the title and fought whenever she could. They were six that met at the crossroads between strength and weakness, between city and woods, between youth and age. Thrown together for the task of cleansing Harbor Park, the experience drew them together in a way that the alpha of the sept never anticipated. Or perhaps he did.
Still, they would have had no bond, no tie, without Mask: the rangy buck raccoon spirit that fought for them in front of the raccoon enclave. Mask was never the brightest or strongest of totems, but his pack loved him dearly. As Patrick once said, "Mask has points in cuteness."
Here are some of their stories.
- Totem Quest
Six Garou go into the Umbra to meet a spirit and end up stumbling across an enclave of raccoons.
- A packmate mourns
Patrick Whitestreak does a soliloquy over his packmate's grave, after her death is avenged.
- A battle goes poorly
Sometimes the best you can do from a battle is retreat with your life. The battle of the Garou against the Dancers at the barn, with the death of Deepsprings.
- Thorn's Gathering
After Thorn's brave death in defense of the Wheel, his packmates and the sept gather for his funeral and to wish him on to his next life.
- Final Words
The three remaining members of Crossing--Patrick, Kate and Anubis--meet with their totem and finally go their separate ways.
