Joshua Halfhand
Joshua Halfhand might have been made for for Dylan Thomas' poem "Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night." Unattractive, scarred, crude and prejudiced, this galliard of the Get of Fenris was nevertheless a brave soldier in the fight against the Wyrm. He and the rest of the pack Crisium came from the caern of Earthspine to the Wheel Renewed, and the mostly-fostern pack certainly made ripples in the power structure of the sept before, one by one, they left for Falcon's Eyrie. Joshua Halfhand and his Black Fury packmate Persephone were the last two to leave, as they had taken responsibilities within their tribes and were torn between following their packmates and fulfilling those responsibilities. Eventually, the call of Phoebe was too strong and the political situation at the Wheel Renewed too volatile. Joshua Halfhand has gone on to other deeds in the Great War, but these are a few of his stories while he was at the Wheel.
Thunder's Claws' Challenge
-
Thunder's Claws challenged Joshua Halfhand for the rank of fostern. The Get galliard set the challenge as half a moon of patrol for the moon bridges that he and his pack watch. On one of their patrols in the fulfilling of the challenge, they found an angel on the mooonbridge. (This is the log that could have ended with Joshua being called Stumpy for life.)
-
Sometimes, even experienced fighters have never seen something before...or know how to deal with it. Another Moon Bridge combat.
-
The Get, especially ones with rage as high as Joshua's, can be right bastards. Still, saucy metis call tongue-lashings on themselves.
-
Joshua tells the story of a recent fight around the fire pit, in which the last bad guy simply flew away.
